Found south of the Omaha metro area, Springfield Platteview Community Schools is a small, suburban school district. The southern Sarpy County district formed from the merger of more than a dozen rural Sarpy County school districts in the late 1950s.

Today, Springfield Platteview Community Schools consists of a shared junior high school/high school campus and two elementary schools, serving students from preschool through 12th grade.

The district prides itself on small class sizes and a technology-driven curriculum.
